I am super excited to have partnered with Google Home for this post, because we love it so much. We have 3 of them around the house and we actually utilize them more than we ever thought. The kiddos love saying “Hey Google”, and telling it to play music. We also recently got a new home security system which is also hooked  up to our Google Home. Its crazy how technology has changed so much in the past few years. I would have never imagined using a device to turn on a show on Netflix, or to even lock my front door. We used our Google Home to turn on the new show Lost in Space on Netflix, and even played the Lost in Space game using the Google Home. The kids loved following the adventure and the fact that it entertains the kiddos is always a plus!

Now I know what you are thinking… about time, right!? Well, after convincing my husband to take pictures of our living room, here they are! Now the disclaimer is that these pictures are not EVERYDAY REALITY! There are usually toys everywhere, clothes that I need to fold on the couch, and probably a stain on the floor somewhere because the kids spilt their juice. If you are anything like me though, its always a good feeling when your living room is clean. It just feels more inviting and to me it makes me want to watch Netflix & chill with the family.

Our living room is the hub of our home and where we spend most of our time as a family. I am slowly trying to convince Ahmad that we need to turn his man cave into the kids play room. All of these toys are driving me crazy being everywhere. They need one central area in the house, and to me Ahmad’s man cave is the perfect place. Don’t you all agree?! When he reads this he probably will be upset, but hey I am just speaking my mind.

Back to the matter at hand… We originally bought our couch before we had kids, and are thinking about either buying a new one or covering this one. I haven’t made up my mind yet, but keeping this clean with 3 kids is HARD! Our couch upstairs in a dark grey color which works a lot better because the stains aren’t as visible. My other option is to go with leather, or downsizing our sectional all together and getting a smaller couch with 2 side chairs. Well for now, the living room will be staying just the way it is.
