Strawberry Smoothie Recipe with my NEW Blender from eBay

If you have been following along, you know that I have been making the kiddos smoothies because it is my secret way to getting them to eat healthy. We had been using our wedding gift blender for the past 8 years, and we were in need of an upgrade! As you know kitchen appliances can be expensive, so I decided to take a look at eBay because I know they would have exactly what I was looking for.

eBay has a plethora of refurbished appliances from high end brands such as KitchenAid. I always loved the KitchenAid brand, but never liked the high ticket price on the appliance; but eBay saved the day with their selection of appliances. They even offer affordable protection plans with the items, which puts my mind at ease about buying a refurbished product.

Now back to making the kids a smoothie! Ashton is allergic to so many different fruits and vegetables, so I have become a pro when it comes to making the ultimate strawberry smoothie! I love that our new blender has tons of speed settings, and matches our other appliances! If you are looking for a good recipe try this one which includes no bananas and local honey!

STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE RECIPE

• 1 CUP OF MILK
• 1/2 CUP OF GREEK YOGURT
• PINEAPPLE CHUNKS (SUBSTITUTED FOR THE banana)
• 1/2 CUP OF FRESH STRAWBERRIES
• 1 TABLESPOON OF LOCAL HONEY
