Mom Life | Enjoy the Moment

We all have those moments when we want everything to be perfect, but it just doesn’t turn out that way some times. I spoke with my mom the other day, and she said something that really hit home with me. Instead of worrying about things, why not enjoy the moment? Why not live in the present and enjoy this amazing life and blessings that I have, because at any moment things could change. I have to really thank God for my blessings, and this mom life. I started off not ever wanting children, and I look around and cant even imagine life without Ashton and Aubri.

I wanted to write this post for all of you moms that sometimes feel like giving up, overwhelmed, or stressed out. We must learn to enjoy these moments. We also have to take time to be more understanding towards other moms. At work one of my co workers reached out for help for a few hours because her son was sick, and she wanted to go to his school and drop off medicine. I was so grateful that my team and I could help because if my children were sick I would want the same support. Its all about building that support system.

Some may not understand that you missed an event because you had to be mom, or how hard it is raising kids. I’m not complaining by any means, but its a tough job. I always give a shout out to stay at home moms who do this 24 hours a day with no break. Then I feel guilty other times that I work, and don’t spend those 8-10 hour work days with my kids. Is there a right or wrong to this mom life? We are all just doing the best that we can right?! At the end of the day all I know is I love being a mom, and wouldn’t change the way my life is set up.

Moral of the story is, be the best mom you can be and enjoy each and every moment. Even when things aren’t going right, or the kids are getting on your last nerves; make sure to enjoy the moment.
