I don’t know about you, but this mom is exhausted. Even though the kids have turned me into a teacher, chef, coach, and every other title under the sun… I am finally at a place where I am content being at home everyday. I realized a few weeks ago the kids do better with learning outdoors. So, I picked up my office and moved to the garage. Anything to keep my sanity in check, and if working in the garage while the kids play in the garage, then that’s just the new normal!
We love being outdoors, but here in Texas we are already feeling summer weather. There is no breeze, and the sun is up from morning until around 7pm. Since being home, everything about my daily routine has changed, including my beauty routine. I make sure I squeeze in 5 minutes of beauty in the morning, and those 5 minutes are crucial because I have to prep my skin for the entire day (including being outside). Let me not forget to add that those 5 minutes sometimes includes me helping the kids brush their teeth, or changing a diaper. Self-care and “mommying” all runs together these days.
Since I am outside majority of the day, I wanted to make sure my skin is protected daily. I have been using Olay Regenerist Whip with SPF 40. I apply it on my face and neck, and love the way it blends on my skin. You can’t even tell that I am wearing SPF, but my skin sure does feel protected!
Olay Regenerist Whip SPF 40 offers heavy lifting SPF protection without weighing you down. Once I apply it my skin is smooth, matte, and moisturized. I love how it’s not greasy and is extremely blendable. I have added the Olay Regenerist Whip SPF 40 to my morning routine for over 3 weeks now, and love how my skin is not only protected, but isn’t left with residue.
If you are taking the kids for a walk, drawing on the driveway with chalk, or just running errands to get the essentials; make sure to keep your skin protected with Olay Regenerist Whip SPF 40. We as moms owe it to ourselves to protect our skin and adding this step to your daily routine will give you a sense of relief while being outdoors.
I can’t wait to hear about your morning routines, and how you are juggling self-care and parenting!
