I feel like it was just yesterday that I was pregnant back to back and had Ashton and Aubri. Time is just moving so fast, and now Ashton is going to pre-k 4 and Aubri is right behind him. We have been prepping them for school all summer, and making sure they were ready academically! Now that August is here, school starts in just a few weeks, its time to make sure that I have everything they need to be ready to start the school year off right. 1. Monogrammed Backpack: Some schools don’t allow monogrammed backpacks with the kids names on it, but Ashton school is a small private school and they allow it. I was nervous reading the list because I had already ordered their backpacks with their names on it.
2. Lunch Box: The school offers lunch, but on days when I want to pack him a lunch I will able to use his matching shark lunch box. Another cool thing is I can also just put his snacks in the lunchbox for snack time at school.
3. Food Containers: These are a lifesaver because you can separate their sandwiches from their fruits! No more buying sandwich bags, I can just wash and reuse the food containers and separate all of their foods.
4. Water Bottle: My kids have this new thing about wanting cold water (I know they get it from me)! They always want to drink out of a cool water bottle, and now they each have one with their names on it! I gave in and let them start using it before school started.
5. Pencil Case: Teaching your kids how to be organized is major key! Making sure everything has a home and a place when they are doing using it is vital. Something as small as a pencil case for them to put all of their crayons in when they are doing using it has helped a lot.
