I feel like while I’m on maternity leave, I have so much to do. Its like my list of things to do gets longer and longer. When I’m working I have no idea how I manage to get everything done. Last week I decided to throw on this white romper in which is super old. After having a baby its like you have won the lottery when you find old garments in your closet that you can finally fit again. Making this romper new again was super easy by pairing it with my studded nude sandals, and my rose cross body.
I challenge you to go in your closet and find one old item that you haven’t worn in a very long time and pair it with a few new pieces that you have bought recently. It’s crazy how it becomes new again, and looks like a totally different outfit. I also threw on my denim jacket with it because I tend to get cold when I run in the grocery store, or go out to eat. I’m that girl that always has a jacket with her (in the car for back up) no matter how hot it is outside.
You can also take your same outfit and put on a pair of heels for a date night look. I went from running errands to a little date night with hubby. I kept the same accessories, and just changed the shoes to dress it up a bit.
Then after a quick bite to eat with hubby, its time to transition this romper look back to mommy mode. Sandals back on, jacket thrown to the side, and now I can run around the house with the kids!
