Shay Moné Baby Shower – DIAPERS & BABES

So grateful & blessed by everyone that attended Diapers & Babes to celebrate the coming of #AubriJ! 

I want to start off by thanking all of my friends, co-workers, and even old co-workers that came out to help me celebrate Aubri! All of them know that I tried to run from the idea of having some sort of baby shower, but after coming up with a cute name (Diapers & Babes) I just couldn’t resist. I never wanted a baby shower, nor did I have one when I was pregnant with Ashton. I started thinking about all the work, money, and time it takes to have one and I always run from the idea. My husband tells me its because I always try to do the ultimate most when I throw a party, but hey I can’t help it. Im that girl that is always like do it all the way, or don’t do it at all.

I want to thank the Tuck Room for letting me host my Diapers and Babes party there. It was so cute, and perfect. Also, special thanks to Erica, Trenace, and Sasha for helping me put this together. I couldn’t have done it without you guys! Last but not least, thank you to all my friends that came out and brought diapers, wipes, and all the other great gifts Aubri received! You guys are all a blessing and I love you dearly!

What I wore:

There has been a few questions in regards to the dress that I wore to the shower. Believe it or not, I bought this dress 2 days before the event and was so desperate to find something. I went to COS (a brand owned by H&M), in the River Oaks District. I have bought a few things from there before and absolutely love that place. It was out of this dress, and another pink dress that I just couldn’t seem to squeeze into. I paired this dress with an old necklace that I had at home, and nude heels. The dress is super comfy, and my favorite part about it is that it has pockets!!!
