My cravings have been on another level lately, and for once I’m not talking about craving a pair of shoes that I want to order online. This time I’m speaking of my pregnancy cravings. Every sweet that I see in sight I want, but recently cake has been on the top of the list.
Many of us prego women feel guilty about maybe ordering two meals, asking for an extra scoop of ice cream at Marble Slab, or wanting to order a birthday cake just for fun because you want CAKE! Well ladies, feel guilty no more, you can jump on board with the trend of mini cakes. You can order as many as you want and put them in the refrigerator so they last longer.
We hosted a birthday party at our house and they had a few mini cakes left over. I fell in love with them, and wanted more. I don’t know about you, but my cake preference is simple. A plain vanilla cake is all I need to satisfy my craving. These particular mini cakes are from Maple & Love.

If you are having an event at your home and want to do a small treat for your guest, I recommend mini cakes. You can buy fresh flowers from your local grocery store and add them to your cakes to give them color and bloom. You can stack them on a cake platter, and you will have a great set up for your guest when they arrive. There is nothing better than fresh flowers, and of course CAKE!!!!
These photos were taken at 1737 Banks St. On Point Custom Homes did an amazing job on the design and layout of this kitchen. While shooting in the kitchen I kept thinking, “can I just move in already?”. Forget craving cakes at this point, I’m craving this kitchen! The house is still for SALE, so make sure to check out their website for more details and pictures of the home.
