MOM SHORTS & BLAZER

If you have been following my blog, you know that finding the perfect “mom” shorts has been so hard. The shorts that I wore in my last post (here) at the beach were way shorter, but more appropriate for the beach. These particular shorts are my  favorite because they are dark denim, in which is my favorite denim color, and destroyed. I made the wholes a little bigger to make them more distressed to give them an added flare.

Even though it is hotter than the devils toe nails outside (does anyone still say that?), I have been reorganizing my closet to prep for fall. I pulled out my navy blazer with gold button detail to pair with my striped tee. To go with the sophisticated blazer it was only right to put on a pair of loafers and head out for the day.

Don’t be scared to wear a jacket with your shorts to dress it up a little. I could wear this outfit to a casual meeting at a bistro and fit right on in for the occasion (especially since my shorts are long enough).

Have you guys started to transition your closets in to fall yet? or is still to hot for you to even think about the next season??
