Happy Thursday everyone! I am slowly transitioning our home decor to holiday mode. I love holiday time because you can become so festive. Your wardrobe slowly changes from tank tops, to cozy sweaters and we often forget about making our home cozier for holiday.
This year I decided to decorate my dining room for Halloween for a dinner party that we are hosting. Anyone that knows me knows that I love white, and my home is very neutral with whites. Every store I went into of course had orange pumpkins (I almost screamed), and there were no white pumpkins in sight. Thank heavens for spray paint, and my husband!
I didn’t want to spend a lot of money of purchasing napkins for the table, and I figure napkins would be my only way to add color to the tablescape. You can get a yard of fabric in the print you want, and cut squares to make cute little napkins for your table. Its cheap, and an easy clean up because you can wash them and use them next year, or toss them.
The part I love the most is the placement cards tied around the pumpkins. Your guest can take a party favor home with them, and decorate their home for the holiday. Spread the decor love by giving your guest a take away, and believe me these pumpkins were only $1!
This table will be easy for me to transition into Thanksgiving, and will be used for our Thanksgiving dinner. I will share the changes once completed in November.
Hope you enjoy!
