Christmas is my favorite time of year because I finally have an excuse to go over board and decorate the house. Every year we go pick out the perfect Christmas tree (maybe not so perfect) from a tree nursery by our house. This year was a little more exciting because we had Aubri with us. She is so alert and attentive and was looking at all the trees and watching her brother sprint through the tree aisles. Finding the perfect tree can be challenging when you are trying to run after a 1 year old, and holding a 5 month old. Ashton was so excited and “tree” became his new favorite word.
We knew that around the time we went tree shopping it was going to be time for Aubri to eat, so we packed her Dr. Brown’s Pink Natural Flow Bottle. While Ahmad chased Ashton around, I was able to stop and feed Aubri with no hassle. I like using the natural flow bottle while we are out because it is a vacuum free feeding similar to breast feeding. It is perfect to use when you can’t breast feed, and Aubri adjusts to it easily. The bottles also comes with a white circle plug so that there are no spills while traveling. If you have a son, or having a baby boy don’t worry because the bottles also come in BLUE!
After feeding Aubri, she was happy and ready to finish our Christmas tree shopping journey. I think Ahmad became restless after running around in circles trying to chase Ashton through the trees. We both decided to let Ashton pick a tree so that we could hurry home and start decorating. We also spray the tree white, before inviting Ashton’s cousins over to help decorate the tree.
I love how we have started our own family traditions, and at the same time able to use products such as Dr. Brown’s that we love. From feedings at home, to on the go moments Dr. Brown’s bottles have been the best choice for my family and I.
