A letter to Ashton J

Ashton J,

You will never understand the joy that you have brought to my life, and you haven’t even entered this place we call the world. Your kicks, punches, and hiccups makes me feel so connected to you as I feel them day by day. I pray that you are everything that your father is and more! It is crazy how I have always wanted a son, and despite everyones thoughts of me having a little girl, God granted my wish and is giving me you. As I was on bed rest, I did nothing but lay and think about your first Christmas, your first word, your first football game… Hurry and get here, your mom and dad can’t wait to hold you! January 22nd can’t come fast enough.
