Am I the only one that has all this vacation time at the end of they year that needs to be taken before it goes away? Same thing happened to me last year, and I can’t manage to figure out how to take more vacation time in the middle of the year. So that I wouldn’t lose my vacay time I took off a week for Ashton’s birthday (will share a birthday recap on the next post). It was good because I was able to plan his party in literally 3 days, and get my home life back on track.
I tell you there is just not enough hours in the day to get everything done. At the beginning of the week I made a list of things I needed to get accomplished before I went back to work. Lets just say there are still about 5 things that are left outstanding. I am a list taker and when something doesn’t get scratched off my list I always feel like I failed. Then again, not really because I just make a new list and add the outstanding things from the previous list. In other words, my list never end.
During my vacation I went to the gym everyday, but when I wasn’t in my work out gear I dressed up to hang out with the hubs. Something about putting on an outfit and going to see a movie makes an impromptu date night even more special.
I wore this skirt that my co-worker Jessica bought for me (isn’t she sweet), and been trying to find the perfect top to wear with it. This blouse I bought during holiday at Abercrombie randomly and thought why not jazz up the skirt a little bit. My favorite part of the outfit believe it or not is my boots. I bought them last year during the Nordstrom Sale, and every time I wear a dress or skirt I throw these on. They are so comfortable and not to bad even on warmer days.
Do you all dress up randomly?
